We are thrilled to welcome Jamie to our team as an Architectural Student! Originally from Georgia, Jamie is currently in her 5th year at Mississippi State University’s School of Architecture, where she is also double minoring in Historic Preservation and Interior Design.
Throughout her time at MSU, Jamie has made significant contributions, including curating galleries focused on raising awareness for marginalized communities. She has conducted research on vernacular architecture and modern building systems in Latin America, as well as studied the impact of eviction on residents in Starkville, Mississippi. This work has fueled her passion for urban design, particularly in creating equitable spaces.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Jamie has been actively involved in organizations such as LSA, TSD, Women in Architecture, and NOMAS. Outside of her career interests, she leads an active lifestyle and will be joining our firm’s newly formed tennis team! Her future ambitions may include licensure in architecture or pursuing a master’s degree in urban design. She is excited to grow with us and learn from our talented design professionals.
