This Priory for the Norbertine Fathers, located on a limestone ridge near the Historic town of Raymond, Mississippi, was master planned to provide residence for 14 members of the community as well as a retreat house, conference center, and church. The first phase consists of the residential component, lake, and infrastructure for the balance of the development. The architects’ design consists of a community of buildings that are on a single level, in spite of the hilly site. Private spaces are oriented to contemplative vistas while community spaces participate in the “community of buildings.”
